Spherea Lux is an artistic collection of original light paintings by visual artist Michael Osborne. Through movement, repetition and long exposure, forms emerge that cannot be fully seen while they are being created. The completed photograph reveals a fleeting shape that could not be entirely perceived in real time.

The work develops through experimentation. Building and adapting equipment, testing ideas and making adjustments means the final image is never entirely predictable. Some attempts lead nowhere; others reveal patterns not seen before.

Michael’s wider creative background includes music, audio production and video. Spherea Lux brings these experiences together in an ongoing exploration of light and form.
